With a GRAMMY nod and new ‘R.E.D.’ album in stores, Ne-Yo is already working on his follow-up. But there is still the matter of his missing GRAMMY.
Cliches be damned, it was a fun. night at the GRAMMY Nominations Concert on CBS, with the band performing and getting nominations in all four major categories.
They join previously announced performers fun., Maroon 5, Ne-Yo and Luke Bryan, along with Taylor Swift, who is sharing the night’s hosting duties with LL Cool J.
Ne-Yo has dropped the video for his latest single “Forever Now,” from his fifth studio album, R.E.D. But the actor/singer/songwriter has added a theatrical element to the clip and an ending that leaves more questions than answers.
Ne-Yo’s new album “R.E.D.” debut at No. 4 on the sales chart this week, while Taylor Swift’s “Red” continues to dominate sales.
The ‘GRAMMY Nominations Concert – LIVE!’ in Nashville, TN has added two more big names to its lineup.
“This album is literally split down the middle,” Ne-Yo explained. “One half is strictly for my R&B fanbase and the other is the pop fanbase.”
The singer explains why this isn’t the first time he’s had “Let Me Love You” as a song title to a track he’s penned.
“I feel like great minds think alike. I’m a Taylor Swift fan, and I have been since her song ‘Fifteen,’” he said.
Don’t get all nervous around Ne-Yo. The singer dispensed advice alongside Nicole Scherzinger on ‘X Factor’ U.K. this weekend.
