Pretty cool right?! Emblem 3 of course performed for us at our Amp Live concert on June 16th. I know the die hard E3 fans were there!

I think Emblem 3 have the potential to be a huge successful group! Perhaps they can snag a Best New Artist nomination at The Grammy’s next year! As a fan of the California boys I’d love to see that happen!

According to fatsecret.com, there are 75 calories in a 1.5 fl oz serving of Skinnygirl Vodka. Commonly, 1 serving of vodka equals 1.5 fluid ounces of 90 proof alcohol and this has about 100 calories. This makes us wonder how Skinnygirl makes their low-calorie vodka.

The simplest way to make a low-calorie drink is to lower the percentage of alcohol. As mentioned previously … Skinnygirl vodka is only 60 proof, so of course it has fewer calories. And no surprise, it actually has more calories than the equivalent amount of common vodka that would yield a 60 proof drink.

Apparently, calling low alcohol beverages low-calorie is just a trend used for marketing.

Skinnygirl has been asked about their “natural” flavor claims, though they have not yet responded.

When casting the part for the sexy, seductive, sensual and dominating Christian Grey the first people who come to mind would be Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth or maybe even Ben Affleck? None of these men have been selected to play the part of Mr. Grey, shocking right? According to cafemom.com, Universal Studios has selected Alex Pettyfer to play the part.

Pettyfer the 23-year-old hottie is known for being the sexy stripping costar in last summer’s sizzling box office hit Magic Mike. Universal has also picked an actress to play the part of Anastasia Steele but has not released who it’s going to be. My suggestions would be Blake Lively, Julianne Hough or Mila Kunis they all seem like perfect candidates. Universal has said that filming has started but they do not have a release date for the film.

“I didn’t realize until I was putting the passports away,” Emily’s mom Nicky recalled. “There was a moment of panic when I thought someone would come chasing after us, but nothing.” 

Emily’s mom says is a worry to any parent, how easy it would be to smuggle a child through customs and to another country.  Emily’s passport was a toy that was sold with her stuffed animal. And while the outside of the passport read “European Union, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, ”the inside included a space to play games and document travel adventures.

But there’s a new invention in Brazil that’s trying to change that . . . and we hope it makes its way up here soon.

A bar called Salve Jorge Bar in Sao Paulo, Brazil is using new beer glasses that are MISSING a chunk off the base. So to keep the glass standing up, you have to slide your cell phone underneath it to prop it up.

That means you can either hold your drink and use your phone one-handed . . . or put your drink and phone down to talk to other people.  So yeah . . . this is a million-dollar idea just waiting to be stolen. Except for the part where no one would actually use it, since they don’t want to risk accidentally getting their phone wet.  You can watch a video on how it works, HERE!

KIM KARDASHIAN hasn’t revealed her daughter’s name yet, assuming she’s decided on one.  But rumor has it she’s been named:  Kaidence Donda West.

MILEY CYRUS is hinting that she DOES smoke weed, but she doesn’t think that should be a big deal.  She says, quote, “I think alcohol is WAY more dangerous than marijuana . . . I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”  She also denies that she’s singing about ECSTASY in her single “We Can’t Stop”.

The male TSA officer was reportedly checking IDs when he allegedly started “glaring” at the girl and mumbling. She said, “Excuse me?” and in a hostile tone, he said, “You’re only 15, COVER YOURSELF!”

The teen said that she was shaken up by his comment, and her father feels that the officer used his position of authority as an excuse to blame the girl for his sick attitude.

The girl’s parents met with the TSA about the incident, and they are opening an investigation.

** TSA released a statement that said, “TSA officers are trained and expected to perform screening methods in a dignified and respectful manner at all times… We regret that this passenger had an unpleasant experience and are in the process of thoroughly reviewing the circumstances.”

Beyonce offered her congratulations to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on their new baby. Bey posted a cute pic of KimYe on her official site, along with a note that said:

In a new interview in the latest issue of GQ magazine, Drake set’s the record straight! He definitely doesn’t hold back what he really thinks. Here’s what he said:

“If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly. Like, it gets really dark.”

And Drake’s thought about the infamous club brawl with Chris Brown:

“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man… But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down.”

He added:
“It’s embarrassing, the amount of media coverage … two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music… But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess.”

In the final edit of the video you will see the flag fall to reveal what is behind it but will never see it on the ground. In most people eyes including my own who were raised in that environment, the Hood is the only America they know and the only America I knew growing up. I was fortunate from my God giving talents to escape the Hood and see the other beautiful places this country has to offer but most people who are born in that environment don’t get that chance. “We feel really good [about it],” Bangalter said of Abrams’ new directorial role in the rebooted Star Wars franchise. “We’ve always been big fans of his work. I happened to have met J.J. a few years back, and he’s a really cool guy. He seems to be the perfect candidate to keep the Force alive.”

I don’t even really like country music but I could see The Swan Brothers winning because they were that good. Take a look at this flawless performance.

Throughout the season I’ve been a big Michelle fan because she has a killer voice plus she’s different. Music could use something different. That’s why I don’t think country girl Danielle should win. In my opinion she’s a cute girl with a sweet voice, but there’s enough of those out there on the radio dial.

From America’s votes, the winner will be crowned tonight June 18, at 9 p.m. on NBC. The special two-hour finale will feature OneRepublic, Bob Seger, Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Florida Georgia Line, Nelly and Hunter Hayes, as well as a highly anticipated guest performance by Cher, who will sing her single “Woman’s World” off her upcoming album of the same name and mark her first live performance in more than a decade. Wow who knew Cher was still making music!

Season one’s premiere episode was titled “Who Are You, Really?” That was a question that Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) was asking of her former paramour Bill Compton (played by her real-life husband, Stephen Moyer, who also directed the episode). At the end of last season, Compton appeared to die, only to be immediately resurrected with even greater powers. In the season premiere, when Sookie comes face to face with Bill, she is skeptical that it is actually the vampire she used to love. So “Who Are You, Really?” by Mikky Ekko seems to be a fitting song for all this.

But as Gary Calamar tells Radio.com, there was originally different music planned for the season premiere, but a change of the episode’s title necessitated a change of plans. “This was an interesting situation,” he said. “The first script for season six was originally titled ‘Don’t Let me Be Misunderstood,’ and we went ahead and recorded a beautiful, ‘True Blood-y’ new version of the song with Eric Burdon (who of course sang the original Animals version) with Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley, Postal Service). We were thrilled with the new version.”

Daughter of Michael Jackson feels that Beliebers deserve more of a role model. Paris Jackson is not too pleased by the actions of Justin Beieber lately.
Paris is currently at UCLA Medical Center from downing 20 Motrin and a case of cutting herself.  After seeing tweets from Beliebers expressing their love for the singer by cutting themselves, Paris was upset that Justin did not speak up.  She feels that he is in a position to reach out and help fans go in the right direction but has yet to demonstrate that “role model factor” himself.

The Tweet says, quote, “@KimKardashian @kanyewest.  Yo, I’m happy for you and I’mma let you finish but BEYONCÉ had one of the best labors of all time.”

Most people insist that it’s not REALLY from Taylor, but photoshopped to look like it was.  Either way, someone was pretty creative!

According to the local celeb Leslie Gold of “Hardcore Pawn,”  he would totally buy and pawn Kanye and Kim dirty baby diapers! You’re probably thinking ew… and it is ew, but other weird celeb stuff has already been reportedly auctioned: Scarlett Johansson‘s tissue ($5,300) … William Shatner‘s kidney stone ($25,000) … Britney Spears‘ pregnancy test ($5,001) and Justin Timberlake‘s half-eaten french toast ($3,154).

Did Justin Bieber run over a paparazzi? They’re saying that he fled yesterday after driving his Ferrari into a photographer on Sunset Boulevard and now police are investigating. He actually motioned for some of the paparazzi to clear out of the way, but when he drove off he pinned one of them between the Ferrari and a parked car. Then he didn’t stop. Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs on 15 mile & Van Dyke got was hit with eviction papers last month because the landlords claim the restaurant hasn’t paid rent since the place opened back in December. But Flav’s people claim they have a good reason — the place had a faulty heater that was leaking carbon monoxide into the restaurant and putting everyone inside the building in danger.

If things go Flav’s way, he’ll be okay. If not, he could have to pay up $25,000. Flav’s partners filed a lawsuit against the landlord claiming they are obligated to fix the problem. The restaurant has since re-opened and it looks like things are being handled on the downlow.

It’s hard to remember a time when One Direction wasn’t being played on pop radio.

As a crowd of eager fans waited outside their hotel for a glimpse of the British boy banders, Radio.com asked them to recall the first time they heard their song on the radio. This was last March, just as 1D was starting to break big stateside, during a visit to New York in promotion of the U.S. release of debut album Up All Night. Apparently the guys had heard their breakthrough single “What Makes You Beautiful” just two days earlier for the first time in the U.S.

“We were on our way to a signing and it came on on the radio station and we all sat in the car [thinking], ‘This is sick!’” Zayn Malik said.

“It was really exciting because it’s really surreal to be in America and hear our song on the radio,” Liam Payne added.

The video, directed by Brown, opens with a statistic on gun violence and quote about peace from Christopher (Brown, not known as CB, as the video text clarifies). The footage is all black and white and the first half features added color exclusively in red and blue — an obvious nod to the Bloods and the Crips, whose violence has long dominated the location in Compton, Calif. where Brown shot the video. But the video isn’t a condemnation. To the contrary, Brown tweeted during the video’s filming last month that he meant it to give love back to the ‘hood (though not his or Aaliyah’s ‘hood, as Brown is from Virginia and Aaliyah was born in Brooklyn and raised in Detroit).

In addition to shots in Compton, the video also features stage sets of Brown dancing while a projection of Aaliyah joins him on screens in the background. Then Brown and an army of hoodie-wearing men with matching gold chains do a dance routine while Brown flashes silver vampire/zombie/alien/inhuman eyes. How those two conceits relate to the theme of unity is unclear, unless it conveys a True Blood-like sentiment to embrace all types of creatures, human and non.

The 41-date Would You Like a Tour? kicks off September 25 in Portland, Oregon and wraps up on October 25 in Los Angeles. Drizzy posted a full list of tour dates on his October’s Very Own website today (June 17), with tickets going on sale this Friday (June 21) via Live Nation.

The tour will presumably be supporting Drake’s upcoming effort, Nothing Was the Same, which has already seen the release of three tracks including lead single, “Started From the Bottom.” Drizzy also put out “5AM in Toronto” and “Girls Love Beyonce” through his October’s Very Own label website. Though no official release date has been revealed as of yet, the album is expected to drop some time this year.

The rapper is also keeping busy with his Cash Money label mates Birdman and Lil Wayne for a rumored Big Tymers reboot, which has yet to see the studio.

So, after Emblem3 performed I thought for sure they were leaving, which is what most artist do. To my surprise I found Keaton sitting on the stage drinking a cup of tea. Naturally I approached him, introduced myself and asked for a picture. He apologized for being sweaty, but I was sweaty, too! He cracked up and I went on to say how much I love Emblem3 and that I’ve been following them since their audition on ‘X Factor’.

We talked a little about California, like the boys I’m from Southern California, too! Keaton went on to say he was waiting to see Carly Rae Jepsen perform because he really likes her and “they’ve done some shows together”. I couldn’t believe how sweet Keaton was, he was absolutely adorable!

I went on to ask Keaton “what’s been the best thing that they’ve experienced so far?” He said, “there’s been a lot of amazing things but the coolest was filming our music video for Chloe!”

After talking with him for a little bit, Drew comes walking by. As I was standing there with them, Keaton calls Drew over and tells him to not be seen because he didn’t want the crowd to go nuts out of respect for Carly, who was standing by.

I then asked Drew the same question, what’s this experience been like, and his answer was very deep. Drew talked about how he’s just “out there experiencing life and trying to find himself and the meaning of what this all means.” He went on to say how he wants a girlfriend, but it’s so hard because they’re always traveling. He also told me how he recently asked this girl out and went into more detail about that… it was so cute. I wasn’t expecting him to be so sensitive.

Slacker then came over and started talking to Drew about Lyric da Queen, the rapper from Flint who was on ‘X Factor’ with Emblem3. Then we all starting talking about Nicki Minaj and… I’ll leave those details out.

After all of that, I had leave and go on stage to introduce Carly Rae. I left the boys alone and let them watch the show. As a fan, you never want to be annoying or pesty! After watching Carly Rae, I saw Drew again backstage he came up and gave me a big high five and winked at me… I never saw Wesley but meeting Keaton and Drew was the best!

During game five of the NBA Finals tonight (June 16), Jay-Z appeared in a three-minute commercial, during which Mr. Carter announced that his new album, titled Magna Carta Holy Grail, would be out July 4. Simultaneously, www.magnacartaholygrail.com launched.

The video acted as an extended ad for both Jay’s new album and Samsung; at the end, “The next big thing is here,” the company’s most recent catchphrase, flashes across the screen. Watch the ad/album announcement below.

The reason for the pairing? An app will allow 1 million Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet users to download Jay-Z’s new album 72 hours before its release. It’s not technically free, though. Samsung has purchased the massive amount of albums — for $5 each, according to The Wall Street Journal. (It’s unclear whether or not the 1 million albums will count toward the album’s chart and RIAA certifications; Billboard‘s standards currently dictate that an album must cost at least $3.49 during their first four weeks of release in order for them to count toward charting on the Billboard 200.)

It’s a new marketing move that echoes the rapper’s words during the video: “We need to write the new rules.”
