Detroit-Windsor Tunnel To Close Every Weeknight For 8 Months This Fall

The Detroit-Windsor tunnel will close every weeknight for renovations beginning this fall for eight months to renovate the tunnel.

The Star¬†reports that crews will replace an 85-year-old ceiling slab at a cost of nearly $17 million. It’s expected the construction will begin in November and wrap up around early June, 2018.
