Kim Kardashian doesn’t appreciate those rumors that she staged her robbery in Paris.
In fact, she dislikes them so much, she’s taking one media outlet to court.
According to CNN, the 35-year-old reality TV starlet is suing MediaTakeOut.com and its founder Fred Mwangaguhunga for libel.
Since the robbery took place last week, the website has apparently published several articles which allege that Kardashian “faked the robbery, lied about the violent assault, and then filed a fraudulent complaint with her insurance company to bilk her carrier out of millions of dollars,” according to the suit.
The stories, which are said to have used social media users as their main sources, also reportedly claimed that Kardashian was being investigated by French police.
Kardashian and her legal team apparently asked the website to remove the articles, but they failed to comply and now she is suing them for damages.
Since the robbery, during which Kardashian was held at gunpoint while five assailants made off with $10 million worth of her jewelry, the media maven has been lying low in Los Angeles and spending time with her family.
