It’s a boy for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, but one of them was sort of hoping for the opposite.
While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Kutcher revealed that he’d had his heart set on another daughter, but his reasoning is actually pretty adorable.
“I was hoping for a girl because first of all, our first girl is unbelievable,” he explained. “But also, I figured if we had a girl second, [Mila] might give me one more shot at having a boy, and now I don’t know. It’s even money. She might cut me off. I want, like, 12 of them.”
The actors, who first met on the set of That ’70s Show years ago, welcomed their daughter Wyatt Isabelle back in 2014.
Kutcher revealed the sex of their second child on The Today Show earlier this week, when he was talking about Wyatt becoming a big sister.
“She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘Baby brother!’ when she points to the belly,” he told Savannah Guthrie. “And then she points to Daddy’s belly and says, ‘Beer.'”
As far as having two kids, The Ranch star admits he’s a little nervous, but very excited.
“You have a recognition that they’re pretty durable,” he jokingly told Guthrie. “You’re not going to break them.”
