WTF? NCAA Tells Army Vet He Can’t Play for Oakland University

Isaiah Brock is an Army Veteran who served in Kandahar, Kuwait, and Afghanistan.

After serving his country he started taking classes at Oakland, where he wanted to play basketball.

But the NCAA said because of his poor high school grades in Baltimore, he wasn’t eligible to play ball.  Yes, you read that right.  He can serve his country, do well in class here, but his high school transcripts say he can’t play basketball.

The story was on The Edge on Fox 2 at 11 last night.
