In the wake of her divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie‘s family has stepped in to help.
Us Weekly reports that Jolie’s older brother James Haven has been acting as ‘manny’ to his six nieces and nephews at their new home in Malibu.
“He took on a more active daily role in June,” an insider said. “The kids call him ‘Uncle James.'”
Jolie (41) and Haven (43), who are the kids of Jon Voight and the late Marcheline Bertrand, caused controversy at the 2000 Oscars when they kissed on the red carpet.
Upon winning the award for Best Supporting Actress for Girl Interrupted, Jolie said during her acceptance speech, “I’m so in love with my brother right now.”
Regardless of the past, Pitt reportedly trusts Haven with their kids, as they’ve always had a good relationship.
“Brad thinks highly of James,” the source revealed. “He’s always been incredible to the kids and is welcome in his home.”
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt last month after two years of marriage and 11 years together, citing irreconcilable differences.
