You won’t be able to read those funny tweets from Chrissy Teigen anymore…unless you’re lucky enough to have already followed her.
Following her recent battle with Twitter users over Kim Kardashian‘s robbery in Paris, the Sports Illustrated model has opted to make her account private.
When asked why she decided to make the change, Teigen replied, “Not strong enough anymore.”
“It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,” she added. “I just feel like I am absorbing bad s*** 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”
Teigen came to Kardashian’s defense when many internet users mocked the reality TV star after she was held at gunpoint and robbed of about $10 million in jewelry over the weekend.
“Fame is interesting. Celebs are supposed to love you guys while also knowing you’d make a meme of our dead bodies to get retweets,” she wrote on Monday. “I dunno. It’s hard to explain because everyone thinks money and fame is pure awesome, so it just sounds whiny. I get it, trust me. Go off.”
“Please do not think that I think celebrities are special snowflakes,” the 30-year-old mom added. “I just miss empathy, in general, for everyone.”
