Disney to Give Another Classic Animated Film the Live Action Treatment

Oh we just can’t wait…to see this movie!

Disney announced yesterday that their latest animated classic to get the live-action treatment would be none other than The Lion King!

A statement from the Walt Disney Company revealed that they’d be teaming up with director Jon Favreau on the project, which comes over two decades after the original movie was released in 1994.

Other Disney films that have recently been rebooted into live-action movies have included Maleficent, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and the upcoming, Beauty and the Beast.
