While Jennifer Aniston has remained tight-lipped on the topic of the Brangelina divorce, her husband Justin Theroux has broken his silence.
The 45-year-old actor is currently doing press for his latest film The Girl on the Train, and predictably, he was asked about the headline-making split.
“As a child of divorce, all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children, and that’s all you can really say,” he told Business Insider. “It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That’s horrible.”
“There’s an endless appetite for trash, apparently, though everyone would say that they don’t have that appetite. But I think a lot of people do because people buy it,” he continued. “But there are bigger things to b**** about. It’s shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.”
Brad Pitt famously fell in love with Angelina Jolie while filming their 2004 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. At the time, he was still married to Aniston, and they divorced in early 2005.
Aniston and Theroux started dating in 2011, and were married in a private ceremony last year at their home in Bel-Air.
