Details Emerge About the Night Brad Pitt Allegedly Attacked his Son

As gossip continues to run rampant about the Brangelina divorce, more details emerge about what actually happened the night things came to a head.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Angelina Jolie decided to end her marriage with Brad Pitt after an incident on their private jet, during which Pitt allegedly became intoxicated and fought with the couple’s 15-year-old son Maddox.

TMZ claims to have the inside scoop, reporting early this morning that Jolie and Pitt were arguing when Maddox stepped in to defend his mom. From there, Pitt allegedly “lunged” at Maddox, and made some sort of physical contact with his son.

The argument is said to have continued on the tarmac after the plane landed, and an employee then reportedly contacted the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services to report the incident.

As the situation occurred partially in the air, it’s under the FBI’s jurisdiction, and they are said to be looking into it to determine whether an investigation is necessary.

Meanwhile, a source has revealed to People that Pitt never “physically harmed” his son.

“He did not hit his child in the face in any way,” the insider said. “He did not do that; he is emphatic about that. He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was spiraling out of control.”

A second source added, “They have taken the overall smallest kernel of truth – that a fight got out of hand and reached a regrettable peak, and that as a result DCFS is looking into it – and they are manipulating it to best suit their attempts to gain custody.”

Upon filing for divorce on Monday, Jolie requested full physical custody of the couple’s six children.
