Nipsey Hussle Tells The Game and Meek Mill to ‘Sit Down Like Men’

By Amanda Wicks

Is it possible to go on a Twitter rant for peace? Nipsey Hussle did just that yesterday (September 18), encouraging The Game and Meek Mill to talk out their issues rather than resort to violence.

On Twitter, Hussle wrote, “Hip hop need to stop gassing this “beef” between thegame and MeekMill …. n—-s gone sit down like men and express they differences and come to and understanding. Ain’t gone be no east cost west coast war. Ain’t gone be no black men killing black men.”

He added, that anyone encouraging a fight between the two needed to stop, whether it came from “Behind publicity or rap music or social pressure from the people.”

The growing beef between The Game and Meek Mill all started last week when he cursed out Meek while performing in Miami, and offered to fight the Philadelphia rapper. Meek responded on Instagram, trying to quench whatever fire The Game wanted to start, but he was having none of it. It turns out, Meek allegedly pointed the finger at The Game after Sean Kingston’s $300k necklace was reported stolen from a club where he was partying with Meek. The Game didn’t take the accusation too kindly.

While some like Drake have already chosen sides, Nipsey’s reminder is an important one. Hip-hop beefs largely remain online these days, but that’s not to say things couldn’t escalate the way they once did.
