The Weeknd Drops New Song with Cashmere Cat, ‘Wild Love’

The Weeknd and Kanye West have mutual friends.

The Weeknd’s penchant for collaboration is one of his defining characteristics as an artist—early the week, we reported that a Daft Punk session happened this summer. In the meantime, the R&B superstar released “Wild Love,” a Cashmere Cat collab that also features and Francis and the Lights (noted friends of Kanye West).

The electronic track makes the most of its various contributors’ styles, blending dance, R&B and hip-hop for a “wild” time. The Weeknd’s honey-sweet vocals soften the cooler electronic additions from Cat and the Lights. Listen here:
