A new study from Zippia.com has revealed the 100 highest paying jobs in Michigan.

Using data directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, examining all 735 job classifications in the Great Lakes State, the career website discovered surgeons, obstetricians/gynecologists (OBGYN) and pediatricians are among the highest paid Michiganders.

1. Surgeons
• Average salary: $245,150
• Entry level salary: $59,810
• # of people: 1,060

2. Obstetricians and Gynecologists
• Average salary: $188,070
• Entry level salary: $51,030
• # of people: 470

3. Pediatricians (general)
• Average salary: $184,760
• Entry level salary: $82,680
• # of people: 630

4. Physicians and Surgeons (all other)
• Average salary: $183,000
• Entry level salary: $52,680
• # of people: 12,910

5. Chief Executives
• Average salary: $182,150
• Entry level salary: $81,290
• # of people: 8,120

6. Psychiatrists
• Average salary: $180,210
• Entry level salary: $105,750
• # of people: 700

7. Nurse Anesthetists
• Average salary: $177,090
• Entry level salary: $146,820
