All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
J.K. Rowling revealed today (August 17) that she has not one, not two, but three new Harry Potter books on the way, and they’re coming even sooner than you think.
Published by Pottermore Presents, the three new books will act as supplemental material to the original series, delving deeper into secrets, mysteries and characters within the world of Harry Potter.
Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists, Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies and Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will be available to download as e-books beginning on September 6.
Some of the material has already been released via Pottermore.com, where Rowling often shares short stories and other essays.
The announcement comes just a couple of weeks after Rowling and co. released the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as a novel, which received a warm welcome from Potter fans everywhere.
Is it possible that she’s gearing up for a Harry Potter ‘next generation’ book series? Time will tell…
