One Criminal Minds actor might not be appearing on the show for a while.
TMZ is reporting that Thomas Gibson has been suspended from the popular series after he allegedly got into a physical altercation on the set.
The fight apparently went down when Gibson and the writer had difference of opinion over a scene the actor was appearing in and directing, and it all culminated in Gibson kicking the man in the leg.
After the writer filed a complaint with his agent, Gibson was reportedly suspended from the show, and has since released an official apology for his part in the argument.
“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred,” he said. “We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will.”
So far, it hasn’t been announced when Gibson, who has been playing Aaron Hotchner on the show since its pilot episode in 2005, will return to the Criminal Minds universe.
