Battle of the bulge?
On Monday, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made headlines when he took to Facebook to call out his male co-stars from Furious 8.
“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t,” he wrote. “The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.”
Of course, the internet then went into a tizzy trying to figure out who exactly The Rock was referencing, and TMZ claims to have the answer.
The gossip site is reporting that Vin Diesel is on the other side of the feud, and that the two even met up on the set in Atlanta on Tuesday to try and work things out.
“We’re told The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because V.D. is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ,” TMZ writes.
Meanwhile, the whole Fast & Furious cast is apparently angry with The Rock for airing his grievances so publicly, and co-star Tyrese Gibson apparently responded to the drama in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“Let me calm you guys all the way down…….. I don’t know WHO he has a problem [WITH] and I don’t have any details of WHAT those problems are – as a matter of fact if I DID know I would tell you s***!!!” he wrote.
For his part, Vin Diesel has not publicly addressed the rumors.
