Well late last night, Niantic, the company behind Pokemon, came out with a statement. They said that Google will push an update, and Niantic will also update the app, to cut down on what it can access.
They DO say that the app never actually HAD that kind of access to your personal information, but better safe than sorry, right?
In the meantime, if you want to deny access to your personal information, here’s how to do it.
