TLC’s manager Bill Diggins has confirmed that they “have 15 new songs to share soon” and that “the best is definitely yet to come,” reported NME.

The release will be the first TLC album since 2002’s 3D, a eulogy for member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, who tragically died in a car crash earlier that year. 3D failed to match the commercial success of 1999’s FanMail, but served as a suitable goodbye to the group at the time.

TLC have been able to make their new album independently after raising over $150,000 from fans through a Kickstarter campaign last year.

T-Boz gave an emotional speech at the Crescent Moon Gala over the weekend, confirming that a new album and world tour is on the way.

“This album, our final album, is dedicated to all of you that have stuck with us, always challenging us to do our best,” posted the group when they launched their Kickstarter. “And of course, it’s for the new fans too!😉 We just want to put out great music that touches everyone. That’s it.”
