Owl City, Aloe Blacc Write a New Graduation Anthem with ‘Verge’: Listen

We’re in the thick of college and high school graduation season and up until now there haven’t been any frontrunners for new anthems — but Owl City and Aloe Blacc are changing that with their new collaboration, “Verge.”

The song, which comes from Owl City’s upcoming album Mobile Orchestra, is a twang-dance ballad with a bluegrass bop and an EDM drop about living it up on a special night.

“I ain’t too sure what I believe in / But I believe in what I see,” sings Adam Young, aka Owl City. “And when I close my eyes / I see my whole life ahead of me / These are our hours / This is our time.”
