Kendall Jenner Calls For Apology After Waitress Claims She Purposefully Skipped Her Bill
Kendall Jenner does NOT appreciate people spreading rumors about her!
The 18-year-old reality TV star-turned-model came under fire earlier this week when The New York Post wrote an article stating that she left a New York City restaurant without paying her bill because they refused to serve her alcohol. When her waitress, who happened to be Blaine Morris of Skins fame, chased her out onto the street to collect the money, Jenner allegedly threw a couple of twenty dollar bills at her and stormed away.
Morris later reportedly tweeted about what went down, writing, “That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face.”
Though she later deleted the post, it was enough to irk Jenner, who took to Twitter yesterday to defend herself:
However, it seems as though Kendall isn’t done with the situation quite yet.
According to the E! News, Jenner has enlisted the help of her lawyers to get a public retraction from Morris.
“As you know, when you waited on my client at Mercer Kitchen last week, there was no issue with service whatsoever,” Jenner’s rep said in a statement.
He goes on to say that Jenner and her friend Hailey Baldwin, “inadvertently forgot to take care of the bill before walking out,” at that their subsequent exchange with Morris involved “absolutely no scene as described in the Statements and the Tweet.”
The rep also stated that Kendall tipped Morris “$40 on a $33 bill” and suggested that perhaps Morris made up the story as an attempt to “create publicity for [herself] and raise [her] own public profile.”
Morris has yet to comment again on the matter.
