This Former Red Wings Player Gets Elected To The U.S. Hockey Hall Of Fame!

Let’s go Red Wings!!!  I’m getting pumped for the upcoming hockey season! The boys will be hitting the ice soon for preseason hockey!

I always love seeing our former players get the recognition they deserve! Dearborn native Brian Rafalski was just elected to the United States Hockey Hall of Fame on Wednesday! Way to go Rafalski!

The 40-year-old defenseman had 79 goals and 436 assists in 833 NHL games with the New Jersey Devils and our Detroit Red Wings! Rafalski won two Stanley Cups with the Devils, one with the Red Wings and two Olympic silver medals with Team USA.  That’s a strong resume!

Rafalski retired in 2011.  Let’s take a look back at one of the best to play the game of hockey!
