Miley Cyrus Gets Inked In NYC – See Her Latest Tattoos!

Miley Cyrus is a big fan of a few things in life, including the Flaming Lips, twerking, and tattoos, and she combined at least two of those things during her latest trip to NYC!

Yesterday (August 5), Cyrus took to Instagram to show off two new tattoos courtesy of tattoo artist to the stars Bang Bang.

And it seems as though Miley and Bang Bang are more than just tattooist and client, as they inked ‘BFF’ tattoos on each other.

Bang Bang tattooed a crescent moon on Cyrus’s elbow, while she returned the favor by tattooing the same symbol on his finger.

“I turned @mileycyrus Into a tattoo artist today,” Bang Bang captioned a photo on Instagram, which showed Cyrus wielding a tattoo gun like a pro.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer also got a tribute to the Flaming Lips and her close friend Wayne Coyne, having the words “Love Yer Brain” tattooed onto the crook of her elbow. The lyrics come from a song on the Lips’ 1987 album Oh My Gawd!!!

And while these certainly aren’t Cyrus’s first tattoos, it’s also not the first time she’s worked on body art for someone else. Last week, the pop star and her assistant gave each other tattoos in the form of small smiley faces.
