Meet Cameron Johnson, he’s a 24 year old man from Livonia who, back in September was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident and sustained numerous injuries.
Cameron suffered traumatic brain injury, collapsed lungs, broken bones and two fractured vertebrates and currently is in need of hyperbaric oxygen therapy which will cost $5,400.
For those who don’t know what that is, Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is when the patient is breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room, which allows the lungs to gather up to three times more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure.
This would be a tremendous help for Cameron. Unfortunately their insurance will not cover the cost and they need YOUR help!
This Friday, August 8th, the Johnson family will be hosting a Spaghetti dinner at St. Rafka in Livonia. The cost is only $10 for adults and $5 for kids and includes all you can eat spaghetti, pizza, salad, bread sticks and more. There will also be 50/50 raffles. All the proceeds from dinner will go to paying for Cameron’s hyperbaric therapy and other medical expenses.
