Kristen Bell Talks Minimum Wage In Mary Poppins Spoof

Mary Poppins isn’t going to take her crummy pay anymore!

In the latest Funny or Die video, everyone’s BFF Kristen Bell plays the classic fictional character in a hilarious parody in which she discusses the issues of minimum wage.

“In every job that must be done, you must be paid in more than fun,” Bell reminds the kids as she packs her bags to quit her iconic position as the world’s best nanny.

Bell then perfectly emulates Poppins as she sings a spoof to the tune of “A Spoon Full of Sugar” and despite the humor, there are a lot of serious undertones about the poverty line, domestic workers, and raising the current wage from $7.25.
