Watch Willow Smith and SZA Perform ‘Domino’ Live

By Philip Cosores

In the time since Willow Smith captured hearts and imaginations with “Whip My Hair,” the youngest child of the Will Smith-Jada Pinkett Smith power union has become a teenager, released some less successful singles, and is still yet to to offer up a full-length album. But, she’s only 14, so it isn’t like she is behind on the curve.

And, in a very positive sign, she is hanging out with some interesting friends, as was seen when she hopped on stage last night with SZA to perform their unreleased collaborative track, “Domino.” Sonically, it is more SZA than Smith, and is the most mature we have seen young Smith yet. Which makes sense, as she is more mature now than ever, technically. Still, this could be possibly pointing to a new direction for the still forming career and a step to becoming an artist beyond her childhood.
