Total Request Live Coming Back For One Day Only With Ariana Grande
Millennials, listen up, because you’re about to have one chance and one chance only to relive the glory days!
MTV has announced that they’ll be bringing back Total Request Live (better known as TRL) for one episode centered around chart-topper Ariana Grande.
According to the network’s website, the show is set for Wednesday, July 2 at 7pm and will be hosted by MTV News host Sway Calloway in the iconic Times Square studio where so many have gathered over the years!
Dubbed ‘Total Ariana Live,’ the special will feature Grande performing an acoustic version of her hit song “Problem” as well as debuting her new single “Break Free.”
TRL first debuted in 1998 and featured host Carson Daly counting down all of our favorite music videos as the hottest stars made guest appearances. The finale aired in 2008 when Ariana Grande was just 15 years old!
The pop singer/actress, who turns 21 today, took to Twitter to express how honored she is to be bringing back the show and also teased that she will be making some special announcements during the episode:
