Demi Lovato shot her most recent video for “Really Don’t Care” in Los Angeles — perhaps an unnecessary factoid most of the time, given that so much media is created there.
However, her gallivant through the streets of Hollywood has one key flourish: it’s set in the midst of the city’s annual Gay Pride Parade.
“Really Don’t Care” features Lovato on her own float, performing the dance-pop number as she slowly travels the parade route. Mixed in with shots of Lovato singing the song are the many denizens of the parade and its spectators, decked out in bright, colorful costumes and clothing.
Other shots include folks in a pink room, sometimes dancing and sometimes kissing, Lovato occasionally joining them.
Featured performer Cher Lloyd also makes an appearance in the video — as do multiple celebrities not featured on the song, including blogger Perez Hilton and even blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
