The photo sharing site recently took down a series of nude photos Rihanna posted from a photoshoot for a French magazine, and the singer’s account has since mysteriously disappeared altogether.
Now, Australian pop singer Cody Simpson has tried to slip by the site’s policies by posting a photo showing him completely nude.
According to E! News, Simpson (17) reportedly shared the pic yesterday (May 19), which featured him standing on a balcony overlooking the beach while wearing no clothes.
“Free. throwback to Sunday morning on the coast after a big one. surfed out too. how bout that tan,” the former Dancing with the Stars contestant wrote, reportedly giving photo credit to ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
However, just a day later, Simpson’s photo has been removed from the site, and he took to Twitter to write, “looks like Instagram didn’t like my a**.” The photo was apparently also posted on Facebook, where it has been subsequently removed.
The post’s deletion seems to solidify Instagram’s message that they make no exceptions when it comes to the rules – not even for celebrities!
Meanwhile, Simpson is gearing up for a performance of his hit song “Surfboard” on the season finale of Dancing with the Stars, which is set for tomorrow (May 20).
