Following an expletive-filled rant during a concert last weekend, Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to clear up a few rumors.
While on stage at the London’s gay nightclub G-A-Y on Friday night, the 21-year-old singer was introducing her song “Wrecking Ball” when she started going off about a former flame that did her wrong.
“Every time you get in your car, you’re going to hear my f*****g song on the f*****g radio, you piece of s**t,” Cyrus said. “That’s right. And then I’m gonna take all my clothes off, I’m gonna sit on a big, giant d**k—sometimes two—I’m gonna swing around, and then I’m gonna hold the record for the most-watched music video on Vevo.”
Everyone immediately assumed that the pop superstar was talking about her former fiancé Liam Hemsworth, but Cyrus has since explained she was just having a little fun.
The singer then went on to tweet that she didn’t really mean to hurt anyone with her speech, saying that she was just “too turnt up.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth started dating in 2009 after appearing together in The Last Song, and became engaged in 2012. Then, in September of 2013, the pair called off their engagement and announced they had broken up.
It seems as though Cyrus still cares for Liam, as she was obviously concerned that he might get the wrong impression from her speech in London. However, we’re not convinced these two are going to get back together anytime soon!
