Anyone who’s ever claimed to hate romantic comedies may change their tune after seeing this movie!

The latest movie from director David Wain (Role Models, Wet Hot American Summer) not only stars the hilarious Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler, it also puts a brand new spin on the same old love story.

The Came Together, which also features Cobie Smulders, John Stamos, Ed Helms, Bill Hader, Adam Scott and many others, pulls together all of the stereotypes of the usual rom-coms to create a spoof for the ages (think Scary Movie, but with romance.)

IMDB boasts the following description of the film via Lionsgate:

When Joel (Paul Rudd) and Molly (Amy Poehler) meet, it’s hate at first sight: his big Corporate Candy Company threatens to shut down her quirky indie candy shop. Plus, Joel is hung up on his sexy ex.”

Sound familiar? Of course it does! But we can almost guarantee that this flick will ACTUALLY be perfect for date night!

They Came Together will hit select theaters and be available On-Demand beginning on June 27.
