If these rumors are true, then Naya Rivera is not having a great year.

According to the New York Daily News, the 27-year-old actress has been fired from Glee after reportedly losing her temper with the show’s producers. PopWrapped.com claims to have the inside scoop that Rivera’s “Santana Lopez” has been written out of the finale’s storyline and won’t return next season.

US Weekly has been reporting an alleged feud between Rivera and co-star Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) stemming from jealousy that Michele gets extra attention as the show’s star, and the two apparently had it out two weeks ago on set.

However, NYDN states that Rivera’s alleged termination from the show had nothing to do with her icy relationship with Michele, and a reported “production insider” told the publication that Michele did not help make the decision to fire her castmate.

Strangely enough, Rivera took to Twitter just hours ago to express her excitement to see tonight’s episode of Glee, which guest-stars Broadway legend Shirley MacLain, so the rumors might prove to be false:

The reports come just a few weeks after it was announced that Rivera and her fiancé Big Sean had decided to end their engagement following rumors of infidelity on the part of the rapper, though his team has vehemently denied those claims.

“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off,” Big Sean’s rep said in a statement to US Weekly on April 9. “The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”

Do you think that Naya Rivera has really been fired from ‘Glee’? Will you still watch without her on the show? Sound off below!
