Now I can finally get my $7.99 a month worth from Netflix…no more trying to catch up on ‘Dexter’ and reruns of ‘Friday Night Lights’. Chelsea Handler may be headed to Netflix after her late-night talk show on E! comes to an end this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sources say the format of Handler’s show for the online service has yet to be decided, but Handler has apparently made it clear that she’s looking for a new place to work after her eight-year contract with E! expires. She recently told Howard Stern that the channel was a “sad, sad place to live.”
However, Handler told Conan O’Brien Monday night that she hasn’t made any decisions:
“Everything printed about me is a lie,” she said. This wouldn’t be the first Netflix-only show; they’ve also released ‘House of Cards’, ‘Orange is the New Black’ and ‘Arrested Development’.
Chelsea will be in Detroit this Saturday, May 3rd for her standup show.
