Selena Gomez Does Some Spring Cleaning

Selena Gomez took many by surprise when she unfollowed EVERYONE on Instagram this week, including famous friends like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. The 21-year-old singer/actress also posted a screen shot of a review of Mary J. Blige’s 2007 album Growing Pains, which featured lyrics about “working on me.”

Ariana Grande met her childhood crush this weekend when she was introduced to funnyman Jim Carrey…and her reaction was priceless!

Justin Bieber Lands in International Hot Water

Justin Bieber had a bit of an “oops” moment this week while visiting Japan.

The “Baby” singer posted a couple of selfies outside of what he thought was a religious building in Tokyo, but he was quickly informed that the Shrine actually honored Japanese war criminals.

He later posted an apology on Instagram to those he had offended, writing “While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.”

Later, while returning to the U.S., Bieber got caught up in Customs at LAX for several hours, allegedly due to his open legal cases. Upon his release, the pop superstar took to Twitter to post a pic that showed him in good spirits:

Lorde Falls Ill, Postpones Tour  

First Miley, now Lorde?

The 17-year-old rising artist sadly had to inform her fans this week that she would be postponing the Australian leg of her world tour after coming down with a “nasty chest infection.”

Avril Lavigne Accused of Racism

When Avril Lavigne dropped her music video for “Hello Kitty” this week, she was met with a bit of backlash.

Many began to call her Japanese-themed video “racist,” but Lavigne vehemently disagreed, taking to Twitter to post a counter-argument to her criticizers:

Time Magazine revealed their 100 Most Influential People issue this week, and everyone had to bow down, because Beyoncé was featured on the cover looking appropriately fierce!

Pharrell Williams was also included in the issue, and Justin Timberlake wrote a pretty awesome tribute to his friend and producer. Read it here.

Katy Perry Celebrates ‘Birthday’ Music Video

Katy Perry unleashed her “Birthday” music video onto the world this week, and she wasn’t kidding when she called it her craziest yet!

In the clip, Katy goes undercover as five of the “world’s worst birthday entertainers” and captures her perfectly played-out pranks via hidden camera. Check it out!
