Watch As Former Red Wing Jordin Tootoo Makes One Kid’s Day

On the ice, Jordin Tootoo is a fierce competitor, but on more solid ground he is apparently a real sweetheart!

The 31-year-old, who is currently playing with the Red Wings’ AHL affiliate the Grand Rapids Griffins, was heading into the locker room after warm ups before a recent game when he encountered a young fan standing on the bench waiting to greet him.

“Tootoo!” the little guy exclaimed when the hockey player approached him, giving him a quick high five.

Then, the former Red Wing provided his young admirer a lifelong memory when he handed him his stick and said, “That’s all yours!”

The little boy’s reaction is one of pure joy and absolutely priceless! Watch above!
