Niall Horan from One Direction isn’t just a rockstar, he’s a soccer guy, too! Horan just announced a celebrity charity soccer game to raise funds for the Irish Autism Action and UK Heart and Minds Challenge. I love when stars use their popularity to raise money for important things like Autism.
Unfortunately, Niall won’t be able to play in the game himself. Back in January, he had intense knee surgery which was thankfully a success, but he’s still recovering. With One Direction’s Where We Are tour starting up, I’m sure he needs to keep himself injury free!
Looks like Niall was able to get his band mates Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson to play, as well as Olly Murs, Robbie Fowler, Rod Stewart, Keith Duffy, and Piers Morgan. The charity soccer game takes place in King Power Stadium on May 26 in Leicester, England!
