Parents Let Reddit Readers Name Their Baby

Remember the brave/idiotic couple who announced earlier this year that they’d be letting Reddit readers name their baby girl?

Predictably, there were some ridiculous suggestions like “Cthulu All-Spark,” “Chalupa Batman” and “Slagathor,’ according to Jezebel. But ultimately, the Redditors picked a surprisingly normal name for the kid.

The baby, who was born on April 7, was named Amelia Savannah Joy McLaughlin. Maybe this was just a stunt to become ‘internet famous,’ and if so it worked, because I’m writing about it.

I feel like this is a decision that should be nobody’s but your own, but I don’t have kids yet and I probably would’ve went with “Chalupa Batman” anyways.
