Miley Cyrus won’t be returning to the stage for a little while.
The “We Can’t Stop” singer was forced to call off two concerts on her Bangerz Tour this week following a “severe allergic reaction” to antibiotics she had been taking to combat a sinus infection, and now, it seems as though more cancellations are imminent.
A source told E! News that the 21-year-old pop star could be experiencing a reaction so severe that it may last “from 5 to 27 days,” and for now, she will remain hospitalized and under the watchful eye of her doctors.
And while fans in Kansas City and St. Louis are undoubtedly disappointed, it seems as though Cyrus is even more distraught.
Yesterday, the singer took to Twitter to give a few updates, and didn’t seem to be in the best spirits:
Miley also posted an Instagram photo from her hospital bed, writing “over the hospital…I miss #bangerztour. #5amhospyselfie so sleeeeepy #medztime #wishicouldcuddlefloyd #whojinxedme.”
The next Bangerz date on the schedule is set for tomorrow (April 18) in Cyrus’s hometown of Nashville, TN, though there’s been no word on whether or not the concert has been canceled.
We hope that Miley starts to feel better soon and that she can head back out on tour soon!
