For anyone who’s ever looked around the dance floor and wondered, “Where the hell did all of these kids come from,” a roving club in New York City is about to make you feel even older.
Fuzipop (“a celebration of music, dance & community for the next generation of city kids”) is a Manhattan-based company that throws full-scale dance parties at nightclubs around town catering specifically to kids between the ages of 6-12 and their parents. Featuring DJs as young as 8 years old, the monthly parties cost around $20 per person to get in, although a family of four can get a group rate of $60.
“This is what we used to do all the time but don’t get to do anymore,” Fuzipop founder Jesse Sprague (along with his wife Jenny Song) told CNN Money about the kiddie raves. “Plus, everyone is always looking for family entertainment and we know the kids will have a blast.”
