One of the biggest controversies to hit the web as of late has been the manufactured ‘thigh gap.’
Clothing companies such as Target have been accused of using Photoshop to remove “excess fat” between the legs of models in order to make them appear thinner, and then posting the photos on their website to sell clothes.
The practice has been widely bashed by the public, but it possible that Beyoncé, who’s always touted messages of female empowerment and self-love, is guilty of the same thing?
Yesterday, the voluptuous singer took to Instagram to post a couple of photos of herself on the golf course.
However, when this particular picture was uploaded, fans began to cry foul:
In the image, something appears to be little bit off about Beyoncé’s left leg, as the curve of the inside of her thigh looks sort of unnatural and potentially Photoshopped. Still, many fans have come to the defense of the pop star, chalking it up to the fact that she’s bending at a weird angle in the photo as she goes to hit a golf ball.
Beyoncé has yet to respond to the criticisms, and as of now, the photo remains on her Instagram account.
