Miley Cyrus Still Devastated Over Loss Of Dog, Feels Guilty Replacing Him
Miley Cyrus was devastated last week following the loss of her 2-year-old dog Floyd, and it looks like dealing with the death isn’t getting any easier for the singer.
Over the past few days, Cyrus has been expressing her grief via social media, with a series of sad posts on Twitter:
Cyrus even went as far as to tweet a photo of her and her late pooch with the caption, “I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him…this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?”
Then, during her Saturday concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the 21-year-old pop superstar unveiled a giant replica of Floyd, which she hugged and serenaded during her performance of “Can’t Be Tamed,” according to Hollywood Life.
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton posted an Instagram video of the sad moment, in which Miley looks completely distraught:
To help her cope, Cyrus’s mom Tish gifted her daughter with a new puppy named Moonie, adding to her gang of rescue dogs which also includes Mary Jane, Ziggy, Happy and Penny Lane, though the singer seems to feel guilty about replacing Floyd.
Losing a pet is never easy, but we’re glad to see Miley is getting support from her family and fans. With the help of new dog Moonie, hopefully she can start to heal soon!
