Surely Idina Menzel had a breakout performance as Princess Elsa in the hit Disney film Frozen, with her incredible voice helping the movie to land an Academy Award for the theme song “Let It Go.”
But Kristen Bell also gave an amazing performance in the movie as the quirky Princess Anna, and her acting and vocal talents were recently highlighted at an event where the cast of Frozen performed the film’s music live for an audience.
For her moment in the spotlight, Bell doesn’t just sing “Do You Want To Build a Snowman,” she performs it using each voice of Princess Anna as she grows up through the story! Watch below:
“I wanted to be a Disney Princess since I was five years old,” Bell tells the audience during the introduction. “Disney animation was so important to me. But what’s even more special was that I was able to help shape a heroine that I wanted to see, that I would identify with when I was five to ten years old. And I feel like I’m so, so proud of Anna because of all those things.”
