April Fools’ Day was a bust yesterday, with a billion people faking pregnancies on Facebook and Lance Bass trying to trick us into an N’Sync reunion.
But just because it’s no longer April 1 doesn’t mean that the fun has to end!
Did you ever want to prank your wife everyday, write about the results, and publish them online without her knowledge? That’s exactly what Jeff Rice did in 2011. Now, the popular blog series will be available as a book for the first time ever, revised and updated with an all-new conclusion from the author.
Regarding his debut book, Jeff explained:
“When it comes to ‘I’ve Had Bigger…and Other Things My Wife Said,’ I actually never intended for it to become a book – it began as a daily blog. I had always wanted an excuse to write on a semi-daily basis, but lacked the motivation or content to stick with it. The idea behind this blog, gave me a topic and the forum to hopefully find an audience.”
“The idea of getting my wife to say a phrase without her knowing appealed to me, because not only is the idea challenging, but keeping her from finding out added to the adventure. Then, of course, it all blew up in my face. For the record, I am still married to this day, but some advice I would give to newlyweds is to always apologize. As a husband, you’ll never be right. Begging for forgiveness is the best way to keep a happy home life. Also, don’t listen to me, because I don’t take my own advice.”
Don’t miss how this prank ends!
