It looks like 2014 is gearing up to be a big year for Hilary Duff!

The former Lizzie McGuire star recently revealed that she has signed a record deal and it seems that she’s already hit the studio to lay down a few tracks.

Duff, 26, began her singing career nearly a decade ago when her 2003 album Metamorphosis spawned successful singles such as “Come Clean,” “So Yesterday,” “Little Voice” and “Why Not.” As her last album, Dignity, was released in 2007, fans can likely expect to hear some more mature themes in Duff’s latest material, as she has since become a mother to son Luca (2) and split with husband of three years, Mike Comrie.

Duff also made headlines last week when she debuted a new platinum blonde ‘do, perhaps signaling that changes were in the works both in her personal life and in her career.
