Watch As Neil Patrick Harris & Jason Segel Perfectly Reenact ‘Confrontation’ From ‘Les Miserables’

It’s going to be Legen…wait for it…

The two-part series finale of How I Met Your Mother is set to air tonight (March 31) on CBS, and over the past couple of weeks, the cast members  have been making the rounds as they chat about the close of the show they’ve been a part of for nine seasons.

As a part of those rounds, HIMYM stars Josh Radnor, Alyson Hannigan, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel appeared on Inside The Actors Studio late last week, and along with the usual show commentary, gave fans a special treat.

In honor of the musical Les Miserables returning to Broadway, one fan asked Segel and Harris to act out a number they’ve been known to perform together in the past: Colm Wilkinson and Jean Valjean’s “Confrontation.”

“You haven’t sung that in a long time!” remarked Alyson Hannigan upon hearing the challenge, but based on their execution of the song, you’d think the duo had practiced it every day for years!

Watch below:

Meanwhile, the internet continues to run rapid with rumors of how HIMYM will wrap up its remaining mysteries (mainly, how exactly Ted met ‘The Mother’) and though some theories of the show’s ending are rather morbid, we remain optimistic that creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas will leave fans feeling fulfilled.

After all, they’ve managed to do just that for nearly a decade.

How do you think HIMYM will end? Sound off below!

…Dary!!! Legendary!
