Report: Zac Efron Punched In The Face By Homeless Man!

This is just awful! TMZ is reporting that Zac Efron was violently punched in the face by a homeless man.

The situation apparently went down late on Sunday night as Efron was walking through the rough area known as Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. Being from L.A. I know that area very well. There used to be a couple of underground clubs around there, and you had to walk right past Skid Row to get to them.

Police who were on patrol in the area that night reportedly saw Efron and a man the actor later identified as his bodyguard in the midst of a brawl with three or more other people.

According to TMZ, Efron had this to say about the scuffle: “It was the hardest I’ve ever been hit in my life.”

Efron and his bodyguard were apparently sitting in their car waiting for a tow truck after they had run out of gas when they threw a bottle out the window. It smashed on the ground near a group of homeless men who supposedly thought they two had thrown it at them, and that’s why the fight began. No arrests were made.

Here’s the interesting part – Skid Row is known for not only homelessness, but also for drug dealing. Efron is someone who has struggled with addiction in the past, so let’s hope he wasn’t out there for that reason.

If you know you’re low on gas and in that area, why would you chance it? What do you guys think?
