Brian Littrell Launches Rumors Of Backstreet Boys/Spice Girls World Tour!

The Backstreet Boys are already set to hit the road with Avril Lavigne this summer, but are they looking to add even more ‘Girl Power’ to their live concert experience?

That’s what band member Brian Littrell is supposedly claiming!

During a recent interview with The Sun, Littrell allegedly told the UK publication that BSB has been planning something with a fellow ‘90s pop group that could seriously spice up our lives!

“We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls,” Littrell said (via MTV UK).

While all five members of the Backstreet Boys remain intact, it doesn’t seem as though the same could be said for the Spice Girls if they did indeed decide to tour.

Following the girl group’s performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, VictoriaPosh SpiceBeckham vowed she would never perform as a ‘Spice’ again, mainly because she felt it was the perfect way to take her final bow.

“Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British,” she said during an interview with the Italian and Spanish Vanity Fair earlier this year. “That was the perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party.”

Perhaps Beckham’s former bandmates Baby Spice, Sporty Spice, Scary Spice and Ginger Spice can change her mind…but it seems unlikely! Can we at least get a Spice World 2…?

In the meantime, the Backstreet Boys’ In A World Like This Tour is set to hit Detroit this summer when they play DTE Energy Music Theatre on June 17. Ticket info is available here.
