Justin Bieber Denies Being A Smoker, Gets Tattoos At 40,000 Feet In The Air
Just because Justin Bieber takes photos with cigarettes doesn’t mean he’s a smoker!
The 20-year-old pop superstar channeled the late James Dean in a black and white selfie posted to Instagram over the weekend, complete with an unlit ‘ciggy’ hanging out of his mouth.
“This is James Dean inspired. Don’t ask me if I smoke ciggys cuz I don’t,” Bieber wrote in the photo’s caption.
The “Confident” singer also posted the original photo that he attempted to recreate:
Meanwhile, the Biebs has potentially broken a world record…but it wasn’t for best James Dean impersonation.
According to reports from the Daily Mail and the New York Daily News, Bieber got two more tattoos back in January, opting to have a cross and the word “Forgive” etched on his torso while flying 40,000 feet in the air.
Tattoo artist Bang Bang, who has previously worked with Rihanna and Katy Perry, told the NY Daily News of crafting the Biebs’ new ink, “It was really difficult. The plane was shaking, so it’s like trying to do a tattoo while you’re driving over rocks…and so I have to compensate and be so, so accurate.”
“I’ve heard that somebody did a tattoo on an airplane once,” Bang Bang continued, “but normal airlines fly 33-35,000 feet and we were at 40,000 feet so I think we might have done the highest altitude tattoo ever. It was fun and we felt like we did something nobody had ever done.”
