While on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour this week, Beyoncé made a stop at the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam to pay tribute to the young woman who has inspired millions

The 32-year-old singer took to Instagram to post a couple of pictures from her visit, one of which shows Bey standing in front of a photo of Anne and a quote from her iconic diary which reads, “I’ll make my voice heard, I’ll go out into the world and work for mankind! 11 April 1944”

A second picture shows Beyoncé looking somber as she crouches down next to a series of photographs of the late Holocaust victim, who sadly died at the age of 15.

According to the museum’s official Facebook page, Jay Z also toured the house, and the couple was “very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank.”
