President Barack Obama released his official March Madness bracket today (March 19) and he’s predicting that Michigan State University will go all the way!

While discussing his choices with ESPN during his now-annual ‘Barack-etology’ session, Obama explained, “Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach. I’ve got Michigan State going all the way…He knows how to motivate folks and he knows how to coach. My pick: Michigan State. Bring it home for me. It’s been a while since I’ve won my pool.”

Obama predicts that MSU face off against Louisville for the title, and has also pegged Florida and Arizona for the Final Four.

Like so many others, the Commander in Chief is hoping to get a perfect bracket in order to win Warren Buffett’s March Madness challenge, and he even told ESPN what he would do if he scored the $1 billion prize.

“I’m sure somebody would ask me to pay down more of the federal debt,” he mused, then adding, “Michelle might want a few shoes.”
